Leaders of the Future

The Leaders of theFuture Youth Program is facilitated on the lower level of The Mission Friendship Centre. The youth centre is open to any youth between the ages of 10-24. We provide services such as activities, workshops and field trips that benefit all of our youth in a positive way. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure, alcohol and drug free environment for youth to make new friendships and strengthen the ones they already have. We also strive to provide as many cultural experiences as we can including smudging, drumming and singing.

Youth and Elder Coordinator

This program will bridge the gap between youth and elders. The Youth and Elder Coordinator will implement programming, and create workshops based on needs of participants. This will create a link between elders and youth to learn from one another.
